Our guitar and bass straps are available in two styles: 'THE ADJUSTABLE' and 'THE SET LENGTH' each categorized by various features and prices. 

 

'THE BASIC'      $95.00 plus shipping and handling. International orders, please email for price quote.

THE BASIC is a 2 3/4 inch wide adjustable style made to order strap designed from full grain oil-tan leather available in three colors:  Black, Brown, and Tobacco. They have our 'exclusive ergonomic design"  available for both right or left hand musicians ( please specify when ordering ). This strap comes 'non-padded' but is fully leather lined. They are very supple and comfortable, perfect for an acoustic guitar or for those who prefer a light weight non-padded strap. They adjust in length 43 to 52 inches long. The"BASIC" is an affordable way to experience our 'exclusive ergonomics' and quality leathers.

 

'THE SOLID COLOR ADJUSTABLE'      $125.00  'Solid color' full grain leather  plus shipping and handling.   International orders, please email for a shipping quote.                                                                   

THE SOLID COLOR ADJUSTABLE  comes in  a 2 3/4 or 3 inch width ( please specify when ordering ) It's a made to order strap and is available in three colors.. It's fully padded with our special 1/8 inch high density foam, completely lined with a smooth garment weight leather, and is very comfortable with its signature Gayle Winde ergonomic design ( please be sure to specify if you are right or left handed). This strap adjusts in length from 43 to 52 inches. Extra long tails are available upon request for an additional $10.00.

THE CUSTOMIZED ADJUSTABLE  comes with a number of different options to choose from with the final price based on your design choices.  Design options are:  Width -- anywhere between 2.5 inches on up to 3.5 inches wide.  It's comes fully padded with the our special 1/8 inch thick high density foam, it's leather lined in either a smooth garment weight leather or a short napped garment weight suede ( please specify ), and adjusts in length 42 to 52 inches long with the option of an extra long tail piece.  Like all of our straps it comes in either a right or left-hand ergonomic design ( please specify ) and is available in four beautiful solid color leathers, all full grain oil tan hides. Colors choices are:   Black, Brown, Tobacco, and Mahogany ( a reddish brown).

  • Design options include:  
  • Fairly simple single graphics which are  inlaid or overlaid to the *front portion* of the strap only ... some examples would be a bass clef or musical note, initials, a cross or symbol, an abstract shape, etc.                        
  • Tailored edge ( The complete edge of the strap is encased in garment weight leather )  There are photo examples of this in our gallery section.
  • Choice of leather lining, either smooth garment weight or a short napped garment suede
  • Extra long tailpiece 
  • Hardware such as studs, grommets, or conchos and basic buckle sets.

 

'THE SOLID COLOR SET LENGTH'      $200.00 ( designed in solid color leather ) plus shipping and handling. International orders, please email for a shipping quote.

THE SOLID COLOR SET LENGTH comes without the adjustable tailpiece and is actually a difficult strap style to find.. This made to order strap comes available in a 2.5 inch or 3 inch width tapering down on both the front and back ends to 1 1/2 inches wide. It's fully padded with our special 1/8 inch thick high density foam, completely lined in a smooth garment weight leather and punched to your specific length ( up to 52" long .. please email to discuss your length specifications, extra long lengths are available and priced accordingly.) It comes designed in right or left hand ergonomics ( please specify when ordering ). This fantastic strap style is yet another signature Gayle Winde design. It's sleek in appearance, renowned for comfort, provides "excellent stability" between you and your guitar or bass and helps to prevent that dreaded neck dive!  This truly is a wonderful strap and definitely worth a try!

THE CUSTOMIZED SET LENGTH is a made to order strap which has the great features of the solid color set length but with additional options to make it as unique as you are!  It can be customized in widths up to 3.5" ( great for bass players! ), it comes fully padded with our special 1/ 8 inch thick high density foam with the option of additional shoulder padding, and two types of leather linings to choose from -- smooth garment weight leather, or garment weight short napped suede. Additional options available for this strap are a number of  basic graphics on either the front or back of the strap, or on both ends ( please email to discuss in detail the various choices and cost of the graphics and their placement ).  Listed below are just a 'few' examples of the 'many' choices for this style strap. These options combined with our beautiful leathers lends to a gorgeous guitar or bass strap uniquely styled for you!

Here is a short list of a just a few options to choose from.

  • A bass clef or musical note placed front or back or on both ends of the strap. 
  • A Christian cross available in various styles from Maltese to modern (same placement options). 
  • Basic abstract shapes or singular symbols 
  • Inlaid initials in a variety of fonts or your personal handwriting
  • Classic hardware to decorate the ends of the strap, such as studs, grommets, or concho's.

MANDOLIN STRAPS:  Our Mandolin straps are special order only and are available in two styles to fit 'A' or 'F' style Mandolins. Each style of strap is ergonomically designed.This is something unheard of in the industry and we are very proud of our design! The regular standard straps found in the marketplace all have the common problem of slipping off the shoulder. Our Mandolin straps are created to fit like a guitar strap which eliminates that problem all together!  Note: since our design is ergonomic, please specify if you are right or left-handed musician when ordering. STANDARD BASIC STYLE:  Designed for 'A' or 'F' style Mandolins.

This strap comes in a 3/4" width, ergonomic ( either right or left-hand ergonomic- please specify when ordering ), lightly padded just over the shoulder area, and lined in either smooth or short napped garment suede.  

THE VINTAGE STYLE:   Designed for 'A' or 'F' style mandolins.

This strap is 1 1/2 inches wide with the traditional shoulder shape of vintage guitar straps. It like all Gayle Winde straps is ergonomically designed ( please specify either left or right hand ergonomics when ordering ), comes lightly padded and leather lined in either smooth or short napped suede.

Our Harmonica Belts and Bandoleers fall into our DESIGNER category and are made to order only. They are individually priced according to the amount of detail. We work with your specific needs as a Harp player and completely customize a unique one-of -a-kind piece built around your personal style. Please see our "How to order Custom" page for details. Our belts and ergonomic bandoleers are designed from quality oil tan leathers, fully padded, leather lined, and neatly trimmed out in a tailored enclosed edge. Each harp pocket is individually hand shaped, padded, glued, and then sewn in place. They are literally "built to last a lifetime" and like all our products, fully guaranteed.
